Nursery

Learning, Loving and Growing!

Our specialized nursery teachers use their vast experiences to assist children to build reading skills, self-confidence and a love for learning.  To meet the developmental needs of 2 and 3 year olds, we offer two separate programs - both based upon the latest research and best practices in child development and early education.  Classrooms and playscapes are designed to encourage safe exploration, allowing children to discover, have fun and learn. The entire program is designed to be engaging and fun, so children do not just learn alphabets, numbers, colours, rhymes and sons but to love to learn.  Listed below are names of current nursery teachers:    

Kindergarten

Time for Exploring

Children ranging from four and five years old are taught in mixed-ability classes for Religious Studies,  Science, literacy and the other foundation subjects approved by Ghana Education Service (GES).  Programmes provide better student-to-teacher ratios and more personalized attention. Whether it is improving social skills or reading, our program will let your child develop and enjoy their own love of learning.

This personalized approach helps to ensure that children receive the help and support they need. Children finish Kindergarten at COHISS ready for first grade intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially.

 They also come away with a love for learning that will stand them in good stead for a long time to come. Listed below are current kindergarten teachers:
