COHISS Reopens; Administrators Happy with Past Year's Success
School reopened today, with administrators happy about the school's
achievements in the past academic year.
- Among the academic achievements of the school is its graduates strong
showing in the 2005 BECE examination, with many of them gaining
acceptance to their secondary schools of choice. Some of our recent graduates
are now enrolled at Opoku Ware School, Prempeh College, Kumasi Academy,
Kumasi High School, Kumasi Anglican and others.
Mr. Enock Mensah, a recent graduate who earned a second prize
award in the Ashanti Region Essay Competition held in the past
April, is now enrolled at Prempeh
College, Kumasi. The COHISS
family wishes him and his fellow graduates a great success in their
secondary school education.
In addition, reports getting to the school's administrators indicate
that many of the 2004 graduates currently attending various secondary
schools are excelling academically at some of
the elite schools in Ghana, mostly earning first and second place
positions.
Mr. Julius Ayimasu, the assistant headmaster of the school expressed his
excitement about the school's exemplarily achievement. He stated that "by focusing
on core courses such as Mathematics, English, General Science, Social Science,
Pre-Technical, etc., our students gain competitive advantage in getting admission into
their schools of choice."
