Call of Hope International Advances To Metro Quiz Finals

COHISS is among nine (9) schools in the Kumasi Metropolitan Area that have advanced to finals in the Ghana Education Service sponsored 2004 Kumasi Metro Quiz Competition for Private International/JHS Schools.  The participating schools won 1st and 2nd places respectively in their district zone quiz competitions in March 2004.  Students are tested in their  knowledge of English, Mathematics, General Science, Social Science, Agriculture Science and Pre-Technical Skills. The competing schools are Call of Hope, Mizpa, City of Kumasi Preparatory, Noble Prince, Macneilus, J. W. Montessori, Cambridge, New Oxford and West Line.  The quiz is scheduled on 2nd July, 2004, and 1st and 2nd place winners would meet their counterparts from the public school system in Mid July, 2004.

Mr. Julius Ayimasu, the head coach of the COHISS quiz team  expressed appreciation for the school's invitation, "We at COHISS are honoured and thankful to the Almighty that we've reached this far.  Both students and teachers have worked extremely hard and are ready to compete against some of the best primary/JHS schools in Kumasi. "  He continued, "We commend the management, teachers and PTA members for their continued support.  Even more praise goes to our quiz team members: Justice Baidoo, Portia Addai, Esther Yeboah, Owusu Mireku, Alhaji Seidu, Regina Boadi and Akosua Anima"
