COHISS Places 5th in French Quiz
- COHISS placed 5th among 25 competing junior high schools (JHS)
in the Kumasi
metropolis in a recent French Clubs Day Celebration
Competition held at the Wesley College, Kumasi on Friday 15th July,
2005.

- Students were tested in their knowledge in French poetry and recital.
Five schools in the order of 1st place through 5th place are St.
Michael International School (Anwomaso), St. Michael International
School (Bomso), Oninwaa International School (Bomso), New Life
International School and Call of Hope International School/JHS (New Tafo).
Mr. Julius Ayimasu, the Assistant Headmaster of the school congratulated COHISS
representatives, "We are proud of our pupils for placing among the top five schools. This success compounds on
the many
successes we've had in Mathematics & Science, English and subject
matter quizzes since 2004."
He continued,
"We commend the management, teachers and PTA of the school for their continued
support. Even more applause goes to our quiz team members: Rasheed
Ibrahim, Mercy (Primary) and Anane Adjei (JHS)."
Mr. Tchagodomou Alakoura, the French teacher of school was excited and
also congratulated the students.
