COHISS Integrates Computer Training to Curriculum.

In an effort to equip students from kindergarten through JHS with computing skills, Call of Hope International School (COHISS) has introduced computer training as part of the regular academic curricula.  Students and pupils would learn basic keyboarding, mouse usage, computer components, internet browsing, email usage and office applications.

According to the new headmaster,  Mr. Emmanuel Osei-Kwaku "We intend to teach elementary computing skills needed to prepare our pupils to become computer literate, and ultimately make them employable in an increasingly evolving information technology-based world." He continues "it is even more important to start in the lower grades, as Ghana as a country, is itself slowly but surely trying to integrate computer technology as part of its workforce development and economic growth strategy."

Mr. Osei-Kwaku, therefore, appealed to parents to encourage their children currently enrolled in the school to take advantage of this rare opportunity to learn at least basic computing.
