ADMISSIONS
We have Open Admissions to new incoming and transferring students beginning
each term. New
applications are accepted at anytime prior to the commencement day of each
term.
Parents considering sending their children to COHISS are most welcome to visit the
school or contact the admission's office at +233-51-47831 for further
information.
Admissibility will be assessed during such a visit and availability of
space will be discussed. Below are some of our admissions requirements:
-
Completed Admissions Form
-
Application Fee
-
Copy of Birth Certificate
-
All transferring students are required to take a test(s) and
attain a passing mark before they will be admitted
-
Two Letters of Reference (JHS transfer applicants
only)
-
Copy of the last two terminal reports (transfer
applicants)
Upon receipt of the completed application, the Admissions
Department will schedule an appointment for personal interview for
prospective students, after which time the candidate will be informed if accepted or rejected.
Each level has different requirements. They are as follows:

Applicants are accepted where space is available. Placement is based on
student's chronological age (must be 2years or older). All applicants are required to take a developmental assessment test to
determine individual needs.
Primary (Upper and Lower)
Applicants are accepted where space is available. Placement is based on
student's performance in mathematics and reading assessment
tests.
Junior
High Sschool (JHS 1-3)
Applicants must submit report cards to determine
their academic grade level in the areas of mathematics and
reading. An essay about why a candidate would like to enroll at Call of
Hope International may be required.
